Scale map

Pilot 004 scaled from 1 house to 40 households in six months. Pilot 006 is scoped as a full-street fleet from day zero. Both run the same thermal bus and the same monitoring agents — the only difference is routing map scope.

Buffalo Pilot 006

Four scales. Same stack.

Deployment A pilot that starts as one house grows into a street, grows into a block, grows into a utility relationship. The hardware doesn't change — only the routing map does.
01 Home

Single-home pilot

One household, one source, one or two branches. Six-week install. The validation unit; most pilots start here.
02 Pro

Multi-household on one source

A cul-de-sac or small block fed by one partner tap. Branch mix per household, shared route planning, one SLA.
03 Fleet

Full-street managed network

Dozens to hundreds of households. Routing becomes grid-aware; demand balancing kicks in. HOA / co-op governance layer.
04 Grid

Utility partnership

The thermal network becomes part of the local energy mix. Negotiated with the utility and the DC partner together — long-term, metered, tariffed.
